- READ VALUE USING GTS (CHARGING CURRENT DUTY FROM CHARGER, TIME CYCLE OF CHARGING CURRENT DUTY FROM CHARGER)
- Using the electric vehicle charger cable assembly, plug-in charge the vehicle.
- Read the value displayed on the GTS.

- Using the electric vehicle charger cable assembly, plug-in charge the vehicle.
- CHECK AC CHARGER INLET CABLE (BODY GROUND)
- Open the charging port lid.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY - CHARGING INLET) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the service information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Open the charging port lid.
- Disconnect the J84 electric vehicle charger assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition n1-4 (CPLT) - J84-3 (CPLT) Ignition switch off Below 1 Ω n1-4 (CPLT) or J84-3 (CPLT) - Body ground and other terminals Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher n1-5 (GND) - Other terminals Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher - Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the In1 AC charger inlet cable connector.NOTE:
If the In1 connector is disconnected with the auxiliary battery connected, P0D56-15 may be detected. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal before proceeding work.
- Disconnect the J84 electric vehicle charger assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
