DTC P1F67-11: Rear PCU Interlock Circuit Short to Ground [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT 

    Pre-procedure1

    • None.
    • Check for DTCs.

      Powertrain > Rear Motor Generator > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      P1F67-11 only is output, or DTCs except the ones in the table below are also output. A
      Any of the following DTCs are also output. B

      HINT: 

      • P1F67-11 may be output as a result of the malfunction indicated by the DTCs above.
        1. The chart above is listed in inspection order of priority.
        2. Check DTCs that are output at the same time by following the listed order. (The main cause of the malfunction can be determined without performing unnecessary inspections.)

    Post-procedure1

    • Turn the ignition switch off.

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC CHART (REAR MOTOR GENERATOR CONTROL SYSTEM). Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2023 - ]

  2. CHECK UPPER INVERTER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    Pre-procedure1

    • Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
      NOTE:

      After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the service information because this may cause a malfunction.

    • Check if the upper inverter cover sub-assembly of the rear inverter assembly is installed correctly.

      OK

      The inverter cover is installed correctly.

    Post-procedure1

    • None.

    Result:

    INSTALL PARTS CORRECTLY 

    Result:

  3. CHECK UPPER INVERTER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    Pre-procedure1

    • Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
      NOTE:

      After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the service information because this may cause a malfunction.

    • Remove the upper inverter cover sub-assembly from the rear inverter assembly.

      HINT: 

      Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

    • Check the condition of the upper inverter cover sub-assembly interlock.

      OK

      Dirt or foreign matter has not entered the connectors and there is no evidence of contamination.
