Inspection [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT VSC OFF SWITCH (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (VSC OFF Switch (Electric Parking Brake Switch Assembly))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      D22-4 (+) - D22-7 (E) Switch pushed Below 1 Ω Ω
      D22-4 (+) - D22-7 (E) Switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
  2. INSPECT BRAKE HOLD SWITCH (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Brake Hold Switch (Electric Parking Brake Switch Assembly))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      D22-3 (+B) - D22-7 (E) Switch pushed Below 1 Ω Ω
      D22-3 (+B) - D22-7 (E) Switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
