Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

- INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the charcoal canister bracket sub-assembly is necessary.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
- INSTALL FUEL VAPOR CONTAINMENT VALVE (FUEL TANK SOLENOID WITH HOSE VALVE ASSEMBLY)
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
- CONNECT FUEL TANK VENT HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY NOTE:
- Check that there are no scratches or foreign matter around the connecting parts of the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly and fuel vapor containment valve (fuel tank solenoid with hose valve assembly) before performing this work.
- After connecting the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly, check that the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly is securely connected by pulling on the fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly.
- CONNECT NO. 2 FUEL TANK VENT HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
*a Retainer - - Push in Push - Connect the No. 2 fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly and fuel vapor containment valve (fuel tank solenoid with hose valve assembly) with their axes aligned, and then push the retainer in.NOTE:
- The No. 2 fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly seals the No. 2 fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly and fuel vapor containment valve (fuel tank solenoid with hose valve assembly) through the O-ring. Therefore, be careful not to damage the connecting part or allow foreign matter to adhere.
- After connecting the No. 2 fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly, pull on the No. 2 fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly to make sure that it is securely connected.
- Connect the connector of the fuel vapor containment valve (fuel tank solenoid with hose valve assembly).
- Connect the No. 2 fuel tank vent hose sub-assembly and fuel vapor containment valve (fuel tank solenoid with hose valve assembly) with their axes aligned, and then push the retainer in.
