DTC P1235-13: High Pressure Fuel Pump Circuit Open [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUEL (ENGINE ROOM SIDE) PUMP ASSEMBLY (FOR HIGH PRESSURE SIDE) 

    Refer to INSPECTION [12/2023 - ]

    Result

    NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE FUEL (ENGINE ROOM SIDE) PUMP ASSEMBLY (FOR HIGH PRESSURE SIDE). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FUEL (ENGINE ROOM SIDE) PUMP ASSEMBLY (FOR HIGH PRESSURE SIDE) - ECM) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Disconnect the ECM connector.
    • Disconnect the fuel (engine room side) pump assembly (for high pressure side) connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      C14-1 (FP+) - C86-23 (FP1+) Always Below 1 Ω Ω
      C14-2 (FP-) - C86-22 (FP1-) Always Below 1 Ω Ω
      C14-1 (FP+) or C86-23 (FP1+) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
      C14-2 (FP-) or C86-22 (FP1-) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher

      NG

    Post-procedure1

    • None.

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE ECM. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]
