- READ VALUE USING GTS (CHECK FOR OPEN IN WIRE HARNESS)
Pre-procedure1
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
*1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor *2 ECM *3 Front view of wire harness connector
(to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor)*4 - - Connect terminals 1 and 2 of the engine coolant temperature sensor connector on the wire harness side.
- According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

Tester Display Coolant Temperature Result
Result Proceed to The value of Coolant Temperature is more than 135 °C A None of the above conditions are met B HINT:

- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR - ECM)
Pre-procedure1
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
