Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL NO. 3 HIGH VOLTAGE FLOOR UNDER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
NOTE:- An interlock connector is installed to the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire. Make sure to install the upper inverter cover sub-assembly after installing the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire.
- Visually confirm that the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire waterproofing rubber is securely installed before installing the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire.
- Make sure that the interlock connector is fully engaged.
- Installing the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire in the incorrect order will cause the parts to break.
*a Waterproof Seal - - - Connect the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire with the 2 bolts.
Bolt A
Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf)
Bolt B
Torque: 9.5 N.m (97 kgf/cm, 84 in.lbf)
- Connect the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire to the rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly with 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
NOTE:- Push in the HV battery charger wire so that the waterproof seal cannot be seen.
- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly when connecting the connector.
- Temporarily install the 2 bolts.NOTE:
- To prevent the threads from being damaged, temporarily tighten the 2 bolts by hand.
- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly when connecting the connector.
- Using an insulated tool, fully tighten the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
NOTE:- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly when connecting the connector.
- Be sure to use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts.
- Connect the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire with the 2 bolts.
- INSTALL UPPER INVERTER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
NOTE:- Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly.
- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or rear transaxle with motor and inverter assembly when connecting the connector.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
- INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the wire harness clamp bracket is necessary.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
- INSTALL WIRE HARNESS PROTECTOR COVER
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the wire harness protector cover is necessary.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
- INSTALL FLOOR UNDER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
- Insert the floor under wire into the floor panel hole and engage the grommet.
- Install 6 new stud clamps.
- Install the 3 bolts and 13 nuts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
*a Green-colored Lock - - Install in this Direction Slide - Engage the clamp and 2 claws.
- Install the 2 nuts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
- Connect the engine room main wire connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.
- Engage the guide and 2 claws to install the No. 1 terminal cap.
*a Green-colored Lock - - Slide - - - Engage the 3 clamps.
- Connect the floor under wire connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.
Torque: 7.6 N.m (77 kgf/cm, 67 in.lbf)
- INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Torque: 4.9 N.m (50 kgf/cm, 43 in.lbf)
- INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

- CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)
- CONNECT NO. 3 HIGH VOLTAGE FLOOR UNDER WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

- Insert the No. 3 high voltage floor under wire into the floor panel hole and engage the grommet.
- Install a new stud clamp.
- Install the 2 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)

- CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE WARNING:

*a Waterproof Seal - - - Connect the HV floor under wire to the inverter with converter assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
NOTE:- Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the inverter with converter assembly.
- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or inverter with converter assembly when connecting the connector.
- Connect the HV floor under wire to the inverter with converter assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf)
*a Green-colored Lock - - Slide - - - Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.NOTE:
Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.
- Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock as shown in the illustration to lock it securely.
- CONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves.
NOTE:- Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connectors.
- To prevent damage due to static electricity, do not touch the terminals of the disconnected connectors.
- Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or inverter with converter assembly when connecting the connectors.
- Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the inverter with converter assembly.
- INSTALL NO. 2 INVERTER PROTECTOR
- INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP

- CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT
