Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 TRACTION BATTERY DEVICE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 TRACTION BATTERY COOLER TUBE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    NOTE:

    Do not apply excessive force to the pipe.

      1. Remove the 3 O-rings from the No. 2 traction battery cooler tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 TRACTION BATTERY COOLER TUBE 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    NOTE:

    Do not apply excessive force to the pipe.

      1. Remove the 3 O-rings from the No. 1 traction battery cooler tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  4. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING PRESSURE SENSOR 

    See step  3

  5. REMOVE DISCHARGE TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    Do not apply excessive force to the pipe.

  7. REMOVE NO. 4 LIQUID TUBE 
    NOTE:
    • Do not apply excessive force to the pipe.
    • Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

      1. Remove the O-ring from the No. 4 liquid tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 LIQUID TUBE

      1. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 liquid tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 LIQUID TUBE

      1. Remove the O-ring from the No. 3 liquid tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 LIQUID TUBE

      1. Using a 5 mm socket hexagon wrench, remove the bolt and No. 2 magnet valve assembly from the No. 2 liquid tube.

      1. Remove the 3 O-rings from the No. 2 liquid tube.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts with vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
