The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during No. 1 traction battery device box removal/installation are shown below.

Orange wire harnesses and connectors indicate high-voltage circuits. To prevent electric shock, always follow the procedure described in the appropriate service information .

Areas where tapping is prohibited

If tapping is performed, electrical leakage, the spraying of electrolyte, and short circuits may result, leading to electrical shock or fire.
When tapping is required, replace the HV battery with a new one.

NOTE:

To prevent the key from being locked in the vehicle, make sure to enter e-latch inspection mode and enable the manual release handle before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

HINT:

When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.
