- To prevent electric shock, wear insulated gloves when working on wire harnesses and components of the high voltage system.
- Tapping cannot be performed on the bolt holes shown in the illustration.
Areas where tapping is prohibited - If tapping is performed, electrical leakage, the spraying of electrolyte, and short circuits may result, leading to electrical shock or fire.
- When tapping is required, replace the HV battery with a new one.
To prevent the key from being locked in the vehicle, make sure to enter e-latch inspection mode and enable the manual release handle before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.
