On-Vehicle Inspection [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT ELECTRIC EXPANSION VALVE (BATTERY COOLING) 
    NOTE:

    Check that DTC is not stored.

    • P0D1A-18
    • P0D1A-19
    • P0DE8-18
    • P0DE8-19
    1. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

      Powertrain > HV Battery > Active Test 

      Active Test Display
      Hybrid/EV Battery Refrigerant Cooling Valve
      Data List Display
      Hybrid/EV Battery Refrigerant Cooling Expansion Valve 1 Drive Status
      Hybrid/EV Battery Refrigerant Cooling Expansion Valve 2 Drive Status

      OK

      Check the Data List and then confirm that it completes normally after the expansion valve moves.
