Installation [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING PRESSURE SENSOR

      1. Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surfaces of the air conditioning pressure sensor.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

        NOTE:

        Do not use any compressor oil other than ND-OIL 11 or equivalent. If any compressor oil other than ND-OIL 11 or equivalent is used, compressor motor insulation performance may decrease, resulting in leakage of electric power.

      2. Install the O-ring to the air conditioning pressure sensor.
        NOTE:

        Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free from dirt and foreign matter.

      *a Turn - -
      1. Secure the air conditioning pressure sensor in a vise between aluminum plates.
        NOTE:
        • Do not apply excessive force to the pipe.
        • Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
        • Do not damage the sealant or brazed area at the base of the piping.

          *1 Air Conditioning Pressure Sensor
          *2 Sealant or Brazed Area
      2. Using a 27 mm deep socket wrench, install the air conditioning pressure sensor as shown in the illustration.

        Torque: 10.8 N.m (110 kgf/cm, 8 ft.lbf) 

        NOTE:

        Do not apply excessive force to the pipe.

  2. INSTALL NO. 2 TRACTION BATTERY COOLER TUBE 
    See step  9
  3. INSPECT REFRIGERANT LEAK 

    See step  1

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 TRACTION BATTERY DEVICE BOX ASSEMBLY
