Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the D44 hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      D44-51 (CA1H) - D44-52 (CA1L) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

      Result

      Proceed to 
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY) 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT 
    1. Check the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly power source circuit.

      Refer to ECU Power Source Circuit [09/2023 - ]

      Result

      Proceed to 
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2023 - 12/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [12/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
