These DTCs are stored when the CAN communication system is malfunctioning.

  1. IG voltage 8.5 V or higher

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with ECM

Detection Time:
  1. Continuously for 10 seconds or more
  • CAN communication system
  • ECM
  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly
 Come on Memorized Air Conditioner B SAE Code:
  1. U0100
U0111-87 Lost Communication with Hybrid/EV Battery Energy Control Module "A" Missing Message Diagnosis Condition:
  1. IG voltage 8.5 V or higher

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with battery ECU assembly

Detection Time:
  1. Continuously for 10 seconds or more
  • CAN communication system
  • Battery ECU assembly
  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly
 Come on Memorized Air Conditioner B SAE Code:
  1. U0111
U0131-87 Lost Communication with Power Steering Control Module Missing Message Diagnosis Condition:
  1. IG voltage 8.5 V or higher

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly)

Detection Time:
  1. Continuously for 10 seconds or more
  • CAN communication system
  • Power steering ECU (rack and pinion power steering gear assembly)
  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly
 Does not come on Memorized Air Conditioner B -
U0140-87 Lost Communication with Body Control Module Missing Message Diagnosis Condition:
  1. IG voltage 8.5 V or higher

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

Detection Time:
  1. Continuously for 10 seconds or more
  • CAN communication system
  • Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly
 Does not come on Memorized Air Conditioner B -
U0155-87 Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module Missing Message Diagnosis Condition:
  1. IG voltage 8.5 V or higher

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with combination meter assembly

Detection Time:
  1. Continuously for 10 seconds or more
  • CAN communication system
  • Combination meter assembly
  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly
 Does not come on Memorized Air Conditioner B -
U0163-87 Lost Communication with Navigation Control Module Missing Message Diagnosis Condition:
  1. IG voltage 8.5 V or higher

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with radio and display receiver assembly

Detection Time:
  1. Continuously for 10 seconds or more
  • CAN communication system
  • Radio and display receiver assembly
  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly
 Does not come on Memorized Air Conditioner B -
U0198-87 Lost Communication with Telematic Control Module "A" Missing Message Diagnosis Condition:
  1. IG voltage 8.5 V or higher

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with DCM (telematics transceiver)

Detection Time:
  1. Continuously for 10 seconds or more
  • CAN communication system
  • DCM (Telematics transceiver)
  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly
 Does not come on Memorized Air Conditioner B -
U0293-87 Lost Communication with Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module Missing Message Diagnosis Condition:
  1. IG voltage 8.5 V or higher

Malfunction Status:
  1. No communication with hybrid vehicle control ECU

Detection Time:
  1. Continuously for 10 seconds or more
  • CAN communication system
  • Hybrid vehicle control ECU
  • Air conditioning amplifier assembly
 Come on Memorized Air Conditioner B SAE Code:
