DTC P00D9-11: Ambient Temperature Sensor "B" Circuit Short to Ground [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Clear DTCs

Pre-procedure1

• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Disconnect the No. 2 ambient temp. sensor (thermistor assembly) connector.

• Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 4 seconds or more.

• Check for DTCs.

  Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes

REPLACE NO. 2 AMBIENT TEMP. SENSOR (THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

• Disconnect the B87 No. 2 ambient temp. sensor (thermistor assembly) connector.
• Disconnect the D35 and D37 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

• Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
