DTC P0070-11: Ambient Temperature Sensor Circuit Short to Ground [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Clear DTCs

• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Disconnect the ambient temp. sensor (thermistor assembly) connector.

• Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 4 seconds or more.

• Check for DTCs.

  Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes

• Disconnect the B13 ambient temp. sensor (thermistor assembly) connector.
• Disconnect the D35 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

• Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
