DTC P007A-11: Charge Air Cooler Temperature Sensor Bank 1 Circuit Short to Ground [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (CHECK FOR SHORT IN WIRE HARNESS) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Disconnect the No. 1 turbo pressure sensor connector.
    • According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

      *1 No. 1 turbo pressure sensor
      *2 ECM

      Powertrain > Engine > Data List 

      Tester Display
      Intake Air Temperature B1S1 (Turbo)

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      The value of Intake Air Temperature B1S1 (Turbo) is -40 °C A
      None of the above conditions are met B

      HINT: 

      -40°C (-40°F)

    Post-procedure1

    • None

    Result: 

    REPLACE NO. 1 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2023 - ]

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR - ECM) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Disconnect the No. 1 turbo pressure sensor connector.
    • Disconnect the ECM connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      C41-4 (THIM) or C26-82 (THIM) - Body ground and other terminals Always 10 kΩ or higher
