Inspection [09/2023 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT NO. 1 POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH
- Check the switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result M12-5 (CLS) - M12-2 (E) Pressed (On) Below 1 Ω Ω M12-5 (CLS) - M12-2 (E) Not pressed (Off) 10 kΩ or higher kΩ If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 power back door control switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check that the switch illuminates.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the No. 1 power back door control switch illuminates.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) - M12-6 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) - M12-1 (ILL-)Always Switch illumination illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 power back door control switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the No. 1 power back door control switch illuminates.
- Check the switch.
