Removal [09/2023 - 12/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2023 - ]
  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (except Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER (except Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    1. for Gasoline Model:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

    2. except Gasoline Model:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2023 - 12/2023]

  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  7. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  9. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP 

    See step  9

  10. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH BELT HOLE COVER 

    See step  10

  11. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 

    See step  11

  12. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  13. DISCONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE DECK TRIM POCKET COVER 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38
  15. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

  16. REMOVE ROPE HOOK 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40
  17. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY

  18. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

  19. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 54

  20. REMOVE REAR WINDOW SIDE GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 44

  21. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

      1. Loosen the bolt and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the rear No. 2 seat outer belt assembly.

        HINT: 

        The bolt cannot be removed from the shoulder anchor of the rear No. 2 seat outer belt assembly.

      2. Remove the 2 bolts.
      3. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear No. 2 seat outer belt assembly.
