Removal [09/2023 - 12/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [09/2023 - ]
  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (except Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER (except Gasoline Model) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    1. for Gasoline Model:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

    2. except Gasoline Model:

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2023 - 12/2023]

  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  7. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  9. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

  10. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH BELT HOLE COVER

  11. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  13. DISCONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  18. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

  20. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH

  21. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

      1. Loosen the bolt and disconnect the shoulder anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly.

        HINT: 

        The bolt cannot be removed from the shoulder anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly.

      2. Remove the 2 bolts.
      3. Disengage the 2 guides.
      4. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector.
      5. Remove the rear seat outer belt assembly.
