Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY TO ENGINE STAND 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ] 

  2. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  3. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY

      *1 CRANKSHAFT PULLEY SET BOLT - -
      *a Hold - -
      Turn - -
      1. Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley and loosen the crankshaft pulley set bolt. Further loosen the crankshaft pulley set bolt until 2 or 3 threads remain screwed into the crankshaft.
        • SST: 09213-70011 
          1. 09213-70020
        • SST: 09330-00021 
      2. Apply lubricant to the threads and end of SST.
        • SST: 09950-50013 
          1. 09951-05010
          2. 09952-05010
          3. 09953-05020
          4. 09954-05021
      3. Using SST, remove the crankshaft pulley set bolt and crankshaft pulley.
  4. REMOVE TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL

      1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, pry out the timing chain case oil seal.
        NOTE:

        After removal, check the crankshaft for damage. If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
