Disassembly [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR

  2. REMOVE HOOD LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY

    2. Use the same procedure for the opposite side.
  3. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY LH 
    See step  1
  4. REMOVE HOOD SUPPORT ASSEMBLY RH 
    HINT: 
    Use the same procedure for the LH side.
  5. REMOVE HOOD STAY BRACKET LH 

    See step  2

  6. REMOVE HOOD STAY BRACKET RH 
    1. Use the same procedure for the LH side.
  7. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the hood spring assembly is necessary.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. REMOVE HOOD SPRING ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the hood spring assembly is necessary.

      1. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the hood support tension spring.
      2. Use the same procedure for the opposite side.
