  1. CONFIRM MODEL 
    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS 
    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List 

      Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Fuel Input Fuel level input Min.: 0.00 L, Max.: 655.35 L or Unset
      • Fuel receiver gauge indicates F:

        58.50 L

      • Fuel receiver gauge indicates 3/4:

        45.50 L

      • Fuel receiver gauge indicates 1/2:

        32.50 L

      • Fuel receiver gauge indicates 1/4:

        19.50 L

      • Fuel receiver gauge indicates E:

        6.50 L

      		 The detected value of the fuel sender gauge assembly is displayed.

      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

  4. INSPECT FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      (Fuel Suction Tube with Pump and Gauge Assembly)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FUEL SUCTION TUBE WITH PUMP AND GAUGE ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Disconnect the D17 combination meter assembly connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      J30-3 (FR) - D17-7 (FR) Always Below 1 Ω Ω
      J30-2 (FE) - D17-25 (FE&B) Always Below 1 Ω Ω
      J30-1 (FV) - D17-23 (FV) Always Below 1 Ω Ω
      J30-3 (FR) or D17-7 (FR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
      J30-1 (FV) or D17-23 (FV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher kΩ
