REMOVE REAR WHEEL

REMOVE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side with Height Control Sensor)

DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS (w/ AVS)

Wooden block

Jack

Using a jack and wooden block, support the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.

WARNING:

Do not raise the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly more than necessary.
If you lift it more than necessary, the vehicle may fall off the lift and cause a serious accident.

NOTE:

When jacking up the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly, be sure to jack it up slowly.
Make sure to perform this operation with the vehicle kept as low as possible.

Remove the bolt and separate the rear shock absorber from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.

REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING

Loosen the bolt on the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly (rear suspension member sub-assembly side).
NOTE:
- Because the nut has its own stopper, loosen the bolt while holding the nut.
- Do not remove bolt or nut.
Remove the bolt and separate the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly from the rear axle carrier sub-assembly.
Slowly lower the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly, and then remove the rear coil spring.
