Removal [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

  3. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19
  5. REMOVE HEATER PUMP ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2023 - ] 

  6. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      1. Remove the bolt and nut to disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly.
      2. Remove the O-rings from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  7. REMOVE DISCHARGE TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      1. Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.
      2. Remove the bolt to disconnect the discharge tube sub-assembly.
      3. Remove the O-rings from the discharge tube sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

      1. Remove the nut and discharge tube sub-assembly.
      2. Remove the O-rings from the discharge tube sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY
