   1. Install the No. 2 air conditioning thermistor assembly with the No. 4 cooler clamp as shown in the illustration.

   1. Perform the following procedure to install the No. 3 cooler packing.

      1. Remove any remaining packing from the No. 2 air conditioning thermistor assembly and discharge tube.

      2. Remove the release paper from a new No. 3 cooler packing.

      3. Install the No. 3 cooler packing as shown in the illustration.

   1. Remove the vinyl tape, and sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the discharge tube sub-assembly.

      Compressor Oil

      ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

   2. Install the O-ring to the discharge tube sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surface free from foreign matter.

   3. Connect the discharge tube sub-assembly with the nut.

      Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf)

   1. Remove the vinyl tape, and sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the discharge tube sub-assembly.

      Compressor Oil

      ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

   2. Install the O-ring to the discharge tube sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surface free from foreign matter.

   3. Install the discharge tube sub-assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

   4. Connect the connector and engage the clamp.

   1. Remove the vinyl tape, and sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the discharge hose sub-assembly.

      Compressor Oil

      ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

   2. Install the O-ring to the discharge hose sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surface free from foreign matter.

   3. Connect the discharge hose sub-assembly with the bolt and nut.

      Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf)
