Removal [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - ]

  4. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  6. REMOVE HEATER WATER HOSE

      1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the 2 clips and slide the 2 clips to remove the heater water hose.
        NOTE:
        • Do not apply excessive force to the heater water hose.
        • Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.
  7. DISCONNECT HEATER WATER HOSE

      1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water hose.
        NOTE:
        • Do not apply excessive force to the heater water hose.
        • Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.
  8. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE 
    See step  3
  9. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING HOSE AND ACCESSORY

      1. Remove the bolt, nut and air conditioning hose and accessory.
      2. Remove the 2 O-rings from the air conditioning hose and accessory.
        NOTE:

        Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  10. DISCONNECT HEATER WATER HOSE L

      1. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the heater water hose L.
        NOTE:
        • Do not apply excessive force to the heater water hose L.
        • Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.
  11. DISCONNECT INLET HEATER WATER HOSE A

      1. Disengage the clamp.
      2. Using pliers, grip the claws of the clip and slide the clip to disconnect the inlet heater water hose A.
        NOTE:
        • Do not apply excessive force to the inlet heater water hose A.
        • Prepare a drain pan or cloth in case the coolant leaks.
  12. DISCONNECT OUTLET HEATER WATER HOSE
