Installation [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Fig 1: Accumulator Assembly Tightening Sequence

      1. Engage the 3 guides.
      2. Install the accumulator assembly with the nut and bolt in the order shown in the illustration.

        Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

  2. CONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      1. Remove the vinyl tape, and sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the suction hose sub-assembly.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

      2. Install the O-ring to the suction hose sub-assembly.
        NOTE:

        Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surface free from foreign matter.

      3. Connect the suction hose sub-assembly with the bolt.

        Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING HOSE AND ACCESSORY

      1. Connect the connector.

      1. Remove the vinyl tape, and sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the air conditioning hose and accessory.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

      2. Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioning hose and accessory.
        NOTE:

        Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surface free from foreign matter.

      3. Install the air conditioning hose and accessory with the 2 bolts.

        Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

  4. CONNECT AIR CONDITIONING HOSE AND ACCESSORY

      1. Remove the vinyl tape, and sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the air conditioning hose and accessory.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

      2. Install the O-ring to the air conditioning hose and accessory.
        NOTE:

        Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surface free from foreign matter.

      3. Connect the air conditioning hose and accessory with the bolt.

        Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

  5. CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE

      1. Remove the vinyl tape, and sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the No. 1 cooler refrigerant suction hose.

        Compressor Oil

        ND-OIL 11 or equivalent

      2. Install the O-ring to the No. 1 cooler refrigerant suction hose.
        NOTE:

        Keep the O-ring and O-ring fitting surface free from foreign matter.

      3. Connect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant suction hose with the bolt.

        Torque: 9.8 N.m (100 kgf/cm, 87 in.lbf) 

  6. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
      1. for LED Type Turn Signal Light:

        Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2022 - ]

      2. for Bulb Type Turn Signal Light:

        Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2022 - ]

  7. CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  8. WARM UP COMPRESSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  9. INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
