DTC P0115-15: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit Short to Battery or Open [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

- READ VALUE USING GTS (CHECK FOR OPEN IN WIRE HARNESS)
Pre-procedure1
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for outlet side) connector.
- Connect terminals 1 (E2) and 2 (THW) of the engine coolant temperature sensor (for outlet side) connector on the wire harness side.
- According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

Tester Display Coolant Temperature Result

Pre-procedure1
- Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for outlet side) connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
