DTC B230D-13: Sub Battery Power Supply Route Circuit Open [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Sub Battery System > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      B230D-13 is output A
      B230D-13 is not output B

    Result: 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - ]

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY) - SECOND POWER SUPPLY REMOTE PARKING CIRCUIT) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    • Disconnect the H191 integrated capacitor (integration control supply) connector.
    • Disconnect the H194 second power supply remote parking circuit connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      H191-1 (BUA3) - H194-5 (B1A2) Ignition switch off Below 10 Ω Ω
      H191-8 (BUE3) - H194-3 (BIE2) Ignition switch off Below 10 Ω Ω
      H191-1 (BUA3) or H194-5 (B1A2) - Body ground Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      H191-8 (BUE3) or H194-3 (BIE2) - Body ground Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Post-procedure1

    • None

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SECOND POWER SUPPLY REMOTE PARKING CIRCUIT - INTEGRATED CAPACITOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY)) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Reconnect the H194 second power supply remote parking circuit connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      H191-8 (BUE3) → H191-1 (BUA3)* Ignition switch off Below 10 Ω Ω
      H191-1 (BUA3) → H191-8 (BUE3)* Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      H191-8 (BUE3) - Body ground Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      H191-1 (BUA3) - Body ground Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher
      1. *: Since there is a diode in the second power supply remote parking circuit which conducts in only one direction, switch the polarity when performing an inspection.

    Post-procedure1

    • None

    Result:

    REPLACE INTEGRATED CAPACITOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ]

    REPLACE SECOND POWER SUPPLY REMOTE PARKING CIRCUIT. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ]
