DTC B2297-19: Sub Battery System Output Power "D" Circuit Current Above Threshold [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Sub Battery System > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      B2297-19 is not output B

    Result:

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY) - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    • Disconnect the H191 integrated capacitor (integration control supply) connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      H191-12 (TRG2) - Body ground Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY - FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH, RH AND REAR DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH, RH) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      H191-20 (BUA2) - Body ground Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE INTEGRATED CAPACITOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ]

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY) - FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH)

    • Disconnect the D34 front door lock with motor assembly LH connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      H191-20 (BUA2) - Body ground Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY) - FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH)

    • Disconnect the D15 front door lock with motor assembly RH connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    • Disconnect the E16 rear door lock with motor assembly LH connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    • Disconnect the C44 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
