DTC P0EC1-11: Refrigerant Outlet Sensor Circuit Short to Ground [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Clear DTCs

Pre-procedure1

• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Disconnect the refrigerant outlet sensor (No. 1 air conditioning thermistor assembly) connector.

  *1	Refrigerant Outlet Sensor (No. 1 Air Conditioning Thermistor Assembly)
  *2	Heat Pump ECU Assembly

• Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 4 seconds or more.

• Check for DTCs.

  Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes

REPLACE REFRIGERANT OUTLET SENSOR (NO. 1 AIR CONDITIONING THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ]

Pre-procedure1

• Disconnect the A64 refrigerant outlet sensor (No. 1 air conditioning thermistor assembly) connector.
• Disconnect the A62 heat pump ECU assembly connector.

• Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
