DTC P0EBC-15: External Condenser Refrigerant Temperature Sensor Circuit Short to Battery or Open [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

• Disconnect the A60 external condenser refrigerant temperature sensor (thermostat assembly) connector.

• Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

• Turn the ignition switch off.
• Disconnect the A60 external condenser refrigerant temperature sensor (thermostat assembly) connector.

• Connect terminals 1 and 2 of the thermostat assembly connector on the wire harness side.

• Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 4 seconds or more.

• Check for DTCs.

  Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Trouble Codes

• Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
