DTC B3A01-12: A/C Evaporator Front Magnetic Valve Circuit Short to Battery [08/2023 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (EVAPORATOR FRONT MAGNETIC VALVE (NO. 2 MAGNET VALVE ASSEMBLY) - HEAT PUMP ECU ASSEMBLY)
Pre-procedure1
- Disconnect the A59 evaporator front magnetic valve (No. 2 magnet valve assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the A62 heat pump ECU assembly connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result A59-2 (VC) or A62-12 (EVMV) - Body ground Always Below 1 V V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
