- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU - VOLTAGE INVERTER) WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
Pre-procedure1
- Check that the service plug grip is not installed.NOTE:
After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch ON (READY), unless instructed by the appropriate service information because this may cause a malfunction.
- Disconnect the voltage inverter connector.NOTE:
As DTC P1CE6-15 may be stored if the connector is disconnected when the auxiliary battery is connected, check that the the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) terminal of the auxiliary battery before performing this procedure.
- Disconnect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Procedure1
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition C59-40 (NOAC) - Body ground Ignition switch ON Below 1 V NOTE:Turning the ignition switch to ON with the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector and voltage inverter connector disconnected causes other DTCs to be stored. Clear the DTCs after performing this inspection.
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition C59-40 (NOAC) - Body ground Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher Result
Proceed to OK NG Post-procedure1
- Reconnect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.
- Reconnect the voltage inverter connector.
Result:
