DTC C0063-1F: Yaw Rate Sensor Circuit Intermittent; DTC C0520-1F: Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" Circuit Intermittent [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CLEAR DTC 

    Pre-procedure1

    • None
    • Operate the GTS to clear the codes.

      Chassis > Brake/EPB > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Post-procedure1

    • Turn the ignition switch off.

    Result: 

    NEXT

  2. RECONFIRM DTC 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Based on the Freeze Frame Data and interview with the customer, attempt to reproduce the conditions when the malfunction occurred.
    • Operate the GTS to read the DTCs.

      Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      C0063-1F and C0520-1F are not output A
      C0063-1F or C0520-1F is output B

    Post-procedure1

    • None

    Result: 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2022 - ] 

    Result: 

    REPLACE AIRBAG ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 08/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ]
