Caution / Notice / Hint

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during fuel pump control ECU removal/installation are shown below.

*1: When "[Parking Support Brake System icon] System Stopped See Owner's Manual" is displayed on the multi-information display.

*2: Even when not replacing the part, it is necessary to perform the specified necessary procedures after installation.

NOTE:
  • After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [10/2022 - ]

  • To prevent the key from being locked in the vehicle, make sure to enter e-latch inspection mode and enable the manual release handle before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

    Refer to INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE [10/2022 - ]

HINT: 

When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.
