  1. CHECK ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY (CHECK VOLTAGE)
    WARNING:

Be sure to wear insulated gloves.

    Pre-procedure1

    • Check that the service plug grip is not installed.
      NOTE:

After removing the service plug grip, do not turn the ignition switch to ON (READY), unless instructed by the appropriate service information because this may cause a malfunction.

    • Disconnect the H58 voltage inverter assembly connector.
      NOTE:

If the H58 connector is disconnected with the auxiliary battery connected, P1CE6-15 may be detected. Therefore, check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal before starting the operation.

    • Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    • Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    • Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CHARGER COOLING BLOWER - ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY)

      NOTE:

If the H58 connector is disconnected with the auxiliary battery connected, P1CE6-15 may be detected. Therefore, check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal before starting the operation.

    • Disconnect the H124 electric vehicle charger assembly connector.
    • Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      H58-1 (VAIN) - H124-56 (VAIN) Ignition switch off Below 1 Ω Ω
H58-1 (VAIN) and H124-56 (VAIN) - Body ground and other terminals Ignition switch off 10 kΩ or higher

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Post-procedure1

    • Reconnect the electric vehicle charger assembly connector.
    • Reconnect the voltage inverter assembly connector.

    Result:

    OK

REPLACE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ]

    Result:

    NG
