Inner Rear View Mirror Assembly Communication Stop Mode [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Disconnect the K6 inner rear view mirror assembly connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
K6-9 (CANH) - K6-10 (CANL)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY)

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

K6-2 (E) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal	Below 1 Ω

Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage

K6-1 (IG) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V
