DTC P1770-62: Door Lock Switch / Curtesy Switch Signal Compare Failure [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (DOOR OPEN SWITCH STATUS) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    • Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      Powertrain > Transmission > Data List 

      Tester Display
      Door Open Switch Status

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Does not change ON/OFF in accordance with the opening/closing of the driver door A
      Changes ON/OFF in accordance with the opening/closing of the driver door B

    Post-procedure1

    • Turn the ignition switch off.

    Result: 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 08/2023]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2023 - 10/2024]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2024 - ] 

    Result:

  2. INSPECT TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY (SHIFT CONTROL ECU) (DROP TERMINAL VOLTAGE) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Open the driver door.
    • Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    • Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      C35-8 (DROP) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and driver door open Below 1 V V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK

      Transmission Floor Shift Assembly (Shift Control ECU)

    Post-procedure1

    • Turn the ignition switch off.
    • Close the driver door.

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY (SHIFT CONTROL ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG

  3. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR) (DRO2 TERMINAL VOLTAGE) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Open the driver door.
    • Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    • Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      H116-4 (DRO2) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and driver door open Below 1 V V

      Result

      Proceed to

    Post-procedure1

    • Turn the ignition switch off.
    • Close the driver door.

    Result:

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR) - TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY (SHIFT CONTROL ECU)) 

    Result: 

    NG

  4. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR) (DRO1 TERMINAL VOLTAGE) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Open the driver door.
    • Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    • Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      H116-17 (DRO1) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and driver door open Below 1 V V

      Result

    • Turn the ignition switch off.
    • Close the driver door.

    REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 08/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG

  5. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (DCTY TERMINAL VOLTAGE) 

    Pre-procedure1

    • Open the driver door.
    • Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    • Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition Result
      D34-7 (DCTY) - Body ground Ignition switch ON and driver door open Below 1 V V

      Result

      Proceed to

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (INTEGRATION CONTROL SUPPLY (INTEGRATED CAPACITOR) - FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH) 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE FRONT DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2022 - 08/2023]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2023 - ]
