Confirmation Driving Pattern

HINT:

After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the All Readiness check procedure.

When clearing the permanent DTCs, refer to the Clear Permanent DTC procedure.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2022 - ]

Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.
Start the engine. [*1]
With the brake pedal depressed, change the shift state from R to D. [*2]
Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for 10 seconds or more. [*3]
Stop the vehicle, and with the brake pedal depressed, change the shift state from M to N. [*4]
Press the P position switch to change the shift state to P. [*5]
HINT:

[*1] to [*5]: Normal judgment procedure.

The normal judgment procedure is used to complete DTC judgment and also used when clearing permanent DTCs.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Utility / All Readiness.
Check the DTC judgment result.
HINT:
- If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.
- If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.
- If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform the normal judgment procedure again.
