DTC P01E3-15: Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 3 Circuit Short to Battery or Open [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

• Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for water inlet housing side) connector.
• Connect terminals 1 (E2) and 2 (THW3) of the engine coolant temperature sensor (for water inlet housing side) connector on the wire harness side.

• According to the display on the GTS, read the Data List.

• Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for water inlet housing side) connector.
• Disconnect the ECM connector.

• Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
