   1. Apply MP grease to the lip of a new timing chain case oil seal.
      NOTE:

      • Keep the lip free from foreign matter.
      • Do not allow MP grease to contact the dust seal.
      • Make sure there is no oil on the outer surface.
   2. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the timing chain case oil seal.
      • SST: 09223-00010 

      Standard Depth

      0 to 2 mm (0 to 0.0787 in.) (From the edge of the No. 2 timing chain cover assembly)

      NOTE:

      Do not tap in the timing chain case oil seal at an angle.
