Installation [10/2022 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

Using an 8 mm socket wrench, install the engine oil level sensor to the engine balancer assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)
Remove any dirt or foreign matter from the engine oil level sensor connector installation hole.
Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the engine oil level sensor.
Install a new clip to the engine oil level sensor.
Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.
NOTE:
If there is any engine oil on the connector, clean the connector using a cloth or similar.

INSTALL NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

for 1Motor-HEV Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10
for Gasoline Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

ADD ENGINE OIL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
INSPECT FOR ENGINE OIL LEAK
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL
for 1Motor-HEV Model:

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

for Gasoline Model:

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)
