Installation [09/2014 - 09/2020]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ABSORBER CONTROL ACTUATOR 

    HINT: 

    • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
    • The following procedure is for the LH side.
    1. Check that the control rod of the rear shock absorber assembly is in the position shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:

      If the control rod is not in the position shown in the illustration, turn the control rod to adjust the position before installing the absorber control actuator.

    2. Install the absorber control actuator to the rear actuator support bracket.

      NOTE:

      Make sure to check that the absorber control actuator output shaft and control rod are securely connected.

    3. Turn the absorber control actuator 40° clockwise until a click is felt.
      NOTE:
      • Before turning the absorber control actuator, make sure to check that the absorber control actuator output shaft and control rod are securely connected.
      • Do not turn the absorber control actuator more than 40°.
      • Do not drop the absorber control actuator. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

    4. Connect the connector.
    5. Return the luggage compartment trim cover to its original position.
  2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. INSTALL FRONT UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  7. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  8. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2018 - 09/2020]
