Removal [09/2014 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and rear suspension arm cover from the rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly.

  3. SEPARATE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  3

  4. REMOVE TOE CONTROL LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Dynamic Rear Steering) 

    See step  2

  5. SEPARATE REAR STEERING TIE ROD ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Rear Steering) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt and nut, and separate the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly from the rear axle assembly.
      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.

    2. Remove the bolt and nut, and remove the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly from the rear suspension member sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.

  7. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  2 [09/2014 - 11/2017], or see step  2 [11/2017 - ]

  8. SEPARATE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY 

    See step  8

  9. REMOVE REAR COIL SPRING 

    See step  9

  10. REMOVE REAR UPPER COIL SPRING INSULATOR 

    See step  10

  11. REMOVE REAR LOWER COIL SPRING INSULATOR 

    See step  11

  12. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt, nut and rear No. 2 suspension arm assembly from the rear suspension member sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. Loosen the bolt with the nut secured.
