Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 

    Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2014 - 11/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PRECAUTION [10/2018 - 10/2022] , or refer to PRECAUTION [10/2022 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:
    1. Loosen the nut, and disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  3. REMOVE BATTERY

      Disengage the 2 claws and separate the center No. 1 cowl top ventilator louver.

    2. Disconnect the harness clamp.

    3. Loosen the nut, and disconnect the cable from the positive (+) battery terminal.
    4. Remove the nut and battery clamp.
    5. Remove the battery insulator.
    6. Remove the battery.
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 BATTERY TRAY SUPPORT 
    1. Remove the No. 1 battery tray support.
  5. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts.

    2. Disconnect the 3 connectors from the power steering ECU assembly and remove the power steering ECU assembly.

      *a Lock of the Lock Lever
      *b Lock Lever

      HINT: 

      When disconnecting the connector with lock lever, pull out the lock of the lock lever and turn the lock lever as shown in the illustration.
