Removal [10/2015 - 11/2017]: Procedure
- DRAIN COOLANT (for Intercooler)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 11/2017]
- REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)
Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 11/2017]
- REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9
- REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15
- DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A
- Disengage the claw to open the service hole cover.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly A from the cooler condenser assembly.
- Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly A.NOTE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.
- Disengage the claw to open the service hole cover.
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE
- DISCONNECT NO. 7 INTERCOOLER COOLING WATER HOSE
- REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY WITH INTERCOOLER COOLING RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
- Disengage the 2 claws.
- Disengage the 2 guides and remove the cooler condenser assembly with intercooler cooling radiator assembly as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly with intercooler cooling radiator assembly or radiator assembly when removing the cooler condenser assembly with intercooler cooling radiator assembly.
- Disengage the 2 claws.
- REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
