Removal [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1 [09/2014 - 10/2015], or see step  1 [10/2015 - 11/2017]

  2. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2015 - 11/2017]

  3. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

      *A for 2WD
      *B for AWD
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and engine oil level sensor.
    3. Cut off the gasket as shown in the illustration.

      *a Cutting Position
      *b Supply Part
    4. Remove the gasket from the engine oil level sensor.

      HINT: 

      After cutting off the portions of the gasket shown in the illustration, remove only the outer part of the gasket.
