Replacement [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

- REPLACE STRAIGHT PIN NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the straight pins unless they are being replaced.
- Using a plastic hammer, tap in new straight pins to the cylinder block sub-assembly.

Item Specified Condition Straight Pin (A) 22.5 to 23.5 mm (0.886 to 0.925 in.) Straight Pin (B) 5.5 to 6.5 mm (0.217 to 0.256 in.) Straight Pin (C) 10.5 to 11.5 mm (0.413 to 0.453 in.) Straight Pin (D) 8.5 to 9.5 mm (0.335 to 0.374 in.)
- Using a plastic hammer, tap in new straight pins to the cylinder block sub-assembly.
- REPLACE STUD BOLT NOTE:
If a stud bolt is deformed or its threads are damaged, replace it.
