Removal [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

- REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)

- REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WITH TRANSFER ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

- REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR ENGINE OIL SEAL
- Using a knife, cut through the lip of the rear engine oil seal.
*a Protective Tape *b Cut Position - Using a screwdriver, pry out the rear engine oil seal.NOTE:
After the removal, check the crankshaft for damage.
If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
